Welcome to Tyndale Photography Club
Welcome to our website, which will tell you about the club and our activities, and show you some of our members’ best photographs under the Galleries tab above.
We are a very friendly club, and our members of all ages come from a wide area in the south Cotswolds, including the local towns of Dursley and Wotton-under-Edge.
If you are passionate about photography we would love to welcome you to our meetings, whatever your level of experience or knowledge – you will find more details about us in this website.
The season runs each year from October to April, meeting weekly at 7:30pm in North Nibley Village Hall. We have different photographers each week, both from outside and within the club, who show us and talk about their work, with a monthly competition for prints and digital images assessed by an external judge – see this season’s programme here.
We look forward to welcoming you to our meetings.
Dursley & District Photogroup
Separate from, but closely associated with Tyndale Photography Club, is the Dursley Photogroup. Organised by myself, this is very much a practical photography group, meeting throughout the year on a Monday evening, these meetings are either in the Dursley Methodist Hall, online via zoom, or as a meet up. The idea behind the group is to have fun whilst learning photography from each other, we have a wide range of experience so somebody will be able to answer your questions. There is a fixed fee to cover hire of the hall when we meet there, with all monies going back into the group for those more expensive topics
For each meeting there will be a topic chosen for the group (or suggested by the members), some examples being; Macro, ICM, Long Exposure, Mono, Oil on Water, Flower Photography, Studio Lights, Portraiture, Reflections, Sport, Multiple Exposure to name but a few.
